In this message we return to the Sermon on the Mount and Jesus words from the end of Matthew 5.

The analogy of tug-o-war comes to mind when studying this section of Jesus sermon.

Tug-o-war only happens when there are two sides tugging.

If one side stops tugging … there is no war!

When we decide to “drop the rope” an not longer war with people it can feel like we are just letting them win.

But in reality we are setting ourselves free.
